Trump on Racism.

It is only 19 days until the election, I have decided that I’m using my platform to dispel myths that Pres. Trump is a racist and showing all the times he has condemned hate, division, and racism. Today’s article is not a Biden hit piece or a piece in support of Trump. (Although I am a “Trump supporter.” and I use that term lightly, I’ve expressed views that are radically different from the presidents.) It is a piece I’ve wanted to make for a while. I will link sources and keep all quotes in their original form. I see far too much of the media and social media users conveying the words of everyone out of context for their gain.

Trump’s Joint Address to Congress on February 28th, 2017.

In his remarks on the vandalism of Jewish cemeteries, he said the below.

“Tonight, as we mark the conclusion of our celebration of Black History Month, we are reminded of our nation’s path towards civil rights and the work that still remains to be done. (Applause.) Recent threats targeting Jewish community centers and vandalism of Jewish cemeteries, as well as last week’s shooting in Kansas City, remind us that while we may be a nation divided on policies, we are a country that stands united in condemning hate and evil in all of its very ugly forms. (Applause.)”

Statement by President Trump August 14th, 2017

In this speech after Charlottesville the President condemned “this egregious display of hatred, bigotry, and violence.” saying it has no place in America. Calling Neo-Nazis, the KKK and White Supremacists “repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans.”

I just met with FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Jeff Sessions. The Department of Justice has opened a civil rights investigation into the deadly car attack that killed one innocent American and wounded 20 others. To anyone who acted criminally in this weekend’s racist violence, you will be held fully accountable. Justice will be delivered.

As I said on Saturday, we condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry, and violence. It has no place in America.

And as I have said many times before: No matter the color of our skin, we all live under the same laws, we all salute the same great flag, and we are all made by the same almighty God. We must love each other, show affection for each other, and unite together in condemnation of hatred, bigotry, and violence. We must rediscover the bonds of love and loyalty that bring us together as Americans.

Racism is evil. And those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans.

We are a nation founded on the truth that all of us are created equal. We are equal in the eyes of our Creator. We are equal under the law. And we are equal under our Constitution. Those who spread violence in the name of bigotry strike at the very core of America.

Fort Myer, August 21st, 2017

The President talking on his strategy in Afghanistan and South Asia He said “there is no room for prejudice, no place for bigotry, and no tolerance for hate.”

Loyalty to our nation demands loyalty to one another. Love for America requires love for all of its people. When we open our hearts to patriotism, there is no room for prejudice, no place for bigotry, and no tolerance for hate.

United Nations General Assembly, September 19th, 2017

To put it simply, we meet at a time of both of immense promise and great peril. It is entirely up to us whether we lift the world to new heights, or let it fall into a valley of disrepair.

We have it in our power, should we so choose, to lift millions from poverty, to help our citizens realize their dreams, and to ensure that new generations of children are raised free from violence, hatred, and fear.

Future Farmers of America Convention, October 27th, 2018

Anti-Semitism and the widespread persecution of Jews represents one of the ugliest and darkest features of human history. The vile, hate-filled poison of anti-Semitism must be condemned and confronted everywhere and anywhere it appears. There must be no tolerance for anti-Semitism in America or for any form of religious or racial hatred or prejudice. You know that. You know that very well. (Applause.) You know that very well.

You’re outstanding people. You were brought up incredibly by outstanding parents, in most cases. And I just want to thank you for your understanding. Because today, with one unified voice, we condemn the historic evil of anti-Semitism and every other form of evil. And unfortunately, evil comes in many forms. And we come together as one American people.

State of the Union Address, February 5th, 2019

To ensure this corrupt dictatorship never acquires nuclear weapons, I withdrew the United States from the disastrous Iran nuclear deal. And last fall, we put in place the toughest sanctions ever imposed on a country.

We will not avert our eyes from a regime that chants death to America and threatens genocide against the Jewish people. We must never ignore the vile poison of anti-Semitism, or those who spread its venomous creed. With one voice, we must confront this hatred anywhere and everywhere it occurs.

Trump on the Mass Shootings in Texas and Ohio, August 5th, 2019.

I have also been in close contact with Attorney General Barr and FBI Director Wray. Federal authorities are on the ground, and I have directed them to provide any and all assistance required — whatever is needed.

The shooter in El Paso posted a manifesto online consumed by racist hate. In one voice, our nation must condemn racism, bigotry, and white supremacy. These sinister ideologies must be defeated. Hate has no place in America. Hatred warps the mind, ravages the heart, and devours the soul. We have asked the FBI to identify all further resources they need to investigate and disrupt hate crimes and domestic terrorism — whatever they need.

We must recognize that the Internet has provided a dangerous avenue to radicalize disturbed minds and perform demented acts. We must shine light on the dark recesses of the Internet, and stop mass murders before they start. The Internet, likewise, is used for human trafficking, illegal drug distribution, and so many other heinous crimes. The perils of the Internet and social media cannot be ignored, and they will not be ignored.

Fox News Interview, October 1st, 2020.

Trump Condemns the Proud Boys, the KKK and All White Supremacy.

There are obviously way more than this but this is just a small amount of what i’ve been able to write without making this article too long. There are also almost no transcripts of anything that isn’t an official speech. Rallies are hard to sift through on YouTube. This article took so long to make I hope you enjoy.

As I said above I’m not trying to tell you to vote for Trump. I’m just tired of seeing my feeds full of false racism claims. Have a Great Day and VOTE YOUR HEART this November whoever you vote for!
